A really fresh bagel

I happened to stop in at a local bagel shop just after a batch had arrived from the oven. That was a first for me. Usually the bagels seem to have been around for a while.

This one was steaming when the clerk sliced it open. No toasting needed to make it warm. I took it as is, with cream cheese.

It was delicious. Bagels should be like that more often.
